I’m thirsty! But looks can be deceiving. This is not an ice bucket. It’s an absolutely delicious and unexpected chai tea-flavored cake with a fresh ginger scented cream cheese frosting. It is like a Starbuck’s Chai Latte in cake form. I could almost eat the whole thing myself (but I won’t).The frosty ice on top of the cake is not at all cold, and the bottles are not glass; that’s because both the ice cubes and the bottles are made from poured sugar, cast into molds. Did you know that sugar bottles like these are used in Hollywood when an actor breaks a bottle over another actor’s head? They’re not as hard as glass and shatter beautifully, so the actor on the receiving end is not hurt. But for our purposes, they make very credible and edible cake decorations. All they’re missing are labels from your favorite brew, and someone to share it with.
